Position Description:
- Good management and interpersonal skills required
- Basic computer skills
- Preparation and fulfillment of orders
- Utilize Point of Rental Software to track and prep outbound and inbound orders (Training on software provided)
- Organize orders in the appropriate location
- Utilize signage to label orders for shipping and receiving
- Lead your team in washing and drying dishes
- Operate and understand the dishwasher
- Train team and new hires on dishwasher
- Maintain and organize a clean warehouse
- Keep inventory organized in the warehouse in its proper location
- Learn and maintain storage systems in place (i.e., Pallet racking organization, row bay bin method of storage, Dish rack color systems etc.)
- Keep dish area of the warehouse clean and maintain cleanliness of dishes after washing
- Uphold quality, accuracy, and cleanliness standards of the company
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Communicate upwards to manager
- Work to achieve goals set by manager
- Communicate concerns with safety, cleanliness, or ability to fulfill orders
- Monitor and report key performance indicators of your department
- Attend department, safety, and store meetings
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form
- Comply with all government safter requirements and other regulations and security in store
Nature of the Work:
- To clean, and prepare for rent, food service equipment (i.e., china, flatware, glassware, chafers, etc.)
- Daily use of dishwasher. Exposure to above average temperatures is prevalent. There is a high degree of lifting and a significant degree of standing, walking, bending and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions.
Education, Skills & Requirements:
- Must be able to lift approximately 30 lbs.
- Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems.
- Computer knowledge is preferred. Training on rental software will be provided.
- Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly.
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.
- Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers.
